Valor Games Southeast 2023-Volunteers Needed

Triangle Volleyball Club along with support from the Carolina Region has been the Sitting Volleyball Sport Chair for the VALOR GAMES SOUTHEAST [VGSE] since 2013 when Sitting Volleyball was first added to the games. Hosted by Bridge II Sports, the Valor Games Southeast celebrates the power of adapted sports for our nation’s veterans with disabilities. The games engage Veterans and members of the Armed Forces with disabilities in spirited adapted sports competition and camaraderie.

Valor Games Southeast is designed as an introductory competition to give opportunity for both those facing life for the first time with a disability and those continuing to gain confidence as they live daily with a disability. A body and mind changed by injury needs the discipline and challenge of physical activity to stay healthy physically, mentally and emotionally. It is the key to recovery, long-term health and re-integration into one's community at home. VGSE sport competitions include: Air Rifle, Sitting Volleyball, Boccia, Wheelchair Basketball, Archery, Indoor Rowing, Power Lifting, Table Tennis, Cycling, Kayaking, and Shot Put.

We hope you will consider helping with this important service project. You are welcome and encouraged to share this information with others in your community if you know of someone willing to volunteer or if you are aware of others seeking to complete service hours for school or work.

Thank you in advance for your generosity of time and service.
