Board of Directors: The Carolina Region’s Board of Directors is made up of an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to improving and supporting the sport of Volleyball in North Carolina. The Board is supported by the following Advisory Boards: Adults, Juniors, and Officials. These Advisory Boards are responsible for overseeing and recommending changes for their respective divisions to the Board. Each Advisory Board elects a representative to the Region Board of Directors. Please contact the Region Office or any Board member for information on how you can get involved to support the Carolina Region and help us grow volleyball in North Carolina!
2024 OFFICER ELECTIONS:
The Offices of President, Treasurer, and Secretary are up for election in 2024. Nominees for President must have served on the Board of Directors two of the past 4 years. Nominees for Treasurer and Secretary must have served as a voting member of an Advisory Board one out of past three years. All adult certified officials and all Junior Team Reps would meet that requirement. We are accepting nominations through the Region Office for the Officer positions through March 31. At that time, the Nominating Committee will finalize the ballot. All Team Reps will be sent an online ballot to cast their vote. The results of the election will be announced at the 2024 Annual Meeting (currently scheduled for June 8).
Financial Information
The Carolina Region is a 501(c)3 North Carolina Non-profit. Per US law, we are required to file a Form 990 annually. Past 990's may be viewed on GuideStar's website or may be requested from the Region Office. There will be a nominal charge to receive a copy by mail.
2023-2024 Meeting Schedule
All Carolina Region Board of Directors’ Meetings are open to the public. Members are invited to join CR Board meetings to understand current issues and have input on the administration of the Region. Members wanting to add a topic to the agenda should submit their request in writing to the Region Office at least one week before the scheduled meeting.

Past Board of Directors Meeting Minutes:
Board of Directors - The Carolina Region Board of Directors currently meets officially one time a year at an annual retreat. The Region also has an Annual Meeting for the organization that is held during the weekend of the retreat. The Board also handles business as it arises during the year through conference calls and online meetings. Minutes from meetings will be posted here after each meeting.
Juniors - The Carolina Region Board of Directors utilizes Advisory Boards of member constituents to aid in policy formation. The Juniors Advisory Board is comprised of all Junior Team Reps. The Advisory Board meets in the Spring to review the past season and propose program enhancements for the future. Minutes from the past meetings will be posted here after each meeting.
