Meet the Carolina Region Board of Directors – Tina Readling

TINA READLING
At-Large Rep (Appointed)

Tina Readling is currently in her 14th year as a member of the Carolina Region Board of Directors.  While currently serving in an at-large position, she has also served as the adult rep and secretary and has been an active participant in the volleyball community and Carolina Region through multiple roles over the past two decades.  Her background includes playing college volleyball (NAIA) and over a decade of teaching high school English.  In the Region, she has worked as an assistant director and/or coach with three different sized clubs whose interests spanned national, regional, and local training/competition.  Additionally, she has been a high school and middle school coach, junior/adult/outdoor tournament director, D1 college coach and recruiting coordinator (Elon University), camp director, and Region High Performance indoor/beach coach/clinician.

Tina currently holds the title of Director of Operations for Penn State Women’s Volleyball.  In this role, she handles all logistics involving the team and serves as the liaison for the program with all external and internal support staff and vendors including:  travel, marketing, sports information/social media, accounting, facilities, events, ticketing, nutrition/meals, housing, community service, special events, boosters/alumni, etc.  Tina also supports the USA Sitting Volleyball Men’s and Women’s National programs as a development coach, where she helps to train and evaluate athletes for potential promotion to the National Teams.  Tina is a regular presenter at the AVCA Convention (Women’s Volleyball Final Four), and even in her role with Penn State, she continues to serve as a direct consultant and supporter for Carolina Region clubs, directors, coaches, players and families.
