KEN KELLY
Youth & Junior Girl’s WEST Rep

Ken started playing in 1985 at WPCC. He moved to Caldwell County and played at CCC&TI. He also played some pickup club at ASU in Boone. He played as an adult in the West division of USAV for 5 years. He still enjoys playing as much as h can.

Ken has a Physical Education degree from Appalachian State University. He started teaching volleyball at the local recreation center in Hudson NC, and started coaching in Hickory at the local YMCA. Ken started coaching club Carolina Select in Hickory. Next, he coached for three years for Team Life Volleyball Club in Hickory. He has been coaching at Burke Elite Volleyball for the past five years.

Ken has helped to organize and run both recreation and club camps. He has been involved with building position training sessions. He is currently a volunteer assistant coach for the newly formed CCC&TI women’s volleyball program.

Ken is the IT Director at Paramount Automotive Group in Hickory NC. He’s married, lives in Hudson NC, and has one son.
