Youth Girls Division Information

The Carolina Region will again support a Youth membership category for girls 11 and younger for the 2012 season. Our hope is to reach younger age groups and introduce them to volleyball. We invision this category to be ideal for those clubs creating Developmental leagues and practice opportunities for younger participants. This division does not need to form teams or play in sanctioned weekend tournaments (they could play in 12 and under tournaments if they wanted but there are no current plans to offer Youth tournaments at this time). The goal is for clubs to start reaching out to the next generation of volleyball players and get them involved at a younger age. 2011/2012 FEES:

Youth Girls (all girls 11 and younger) - $15 (fee is same for online applications and paper form)

GIRLS TRYOUTS:

As a service to our members, we will post tryout information for clubs/teams that provide the information to the Region Office. Per our Tryout Guidelines, we will not post any Girls’ Club tryouts that do not conform to our Tryout Guidelines (see the Tryout Guidelines for additional information on tryout dates and signing dates). All clubs and individuals should also refer to our Recruiting Statement for information on acceptable ways to promote your tryouts and the behavior that is expected from our participants.
