JOB TITLE
Volleyball Coordinator

Brief Description:
Under the supervision of the Sports Director(s), the Volleyball Coordinator shall be responsible for the delivery
of the Youth and Adult Sports program. Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership, organizational and
communication skills as well as the ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans. Must be able to
work at nights and weekends.

Branch: Jerry Long Family YMCA
Hours/Days: Monday through Friday as needed, occasional weekends are required
Status: Non-Exempt
Starting Salary: $9 – $11 per hour
Reports to: Sports Director
Qualifications:
• Previous volleyball coaching experience at the high school or college level preferred.
• High School Diploma
• Ability to work with children of all ages
• Ability to accept supervision and guidance
• Good communication skills with children and parents
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self control
