Hinton Awarded Outstanding Program Director at USAV 2013 Annual Meetings
June 2013

The Carolina Region's own Jenna Hinton (Louisburg, Triangle Volleyball Club) was awarded the 2013 USA Volleyball Junior Assembly Service Award for Outstanding Program Director during the 2013 Annual Meetings of USA Volleyball.

The Award was presented during the Junior Assembly Annual Luncheon during the Annual Meetings in Louisville, KY on May 22, 2013.  Jenna was not able to attend the ceremony due to her involvement with the 2013 Valor Games in Chapel Hill, NC.  Her participation with the Valor Games is just one of many reasons, Jenna was honored with the Outstanding Program Director Award.

Jenna has an extended history with Carolina Region Volleyball and the promotion of the sport in North Carolina.  She was a 2008 Carolina Region  honoree of the USAV Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award for her work with the Carolina Region High Performance Program and junior Coaching.  She has been a long-time Tournament Director for the Region.  In conjunction with her work at Triangle Volleyball Club, she has developed many initiatives to coincide with the MAPL Raleigh event to promote the sport to those with disabilities as well as under-privileged kids.  Sitting volleyball has been a major program initiative of hers and she continues to promote it through a partnership with Bridge II Sports.

Congratulations, Jenna, on this well-deserved honor!
