Carolina Region 2009/2010 Adult Officiating Clinic Schedule

Schedule of Adult Officiating Clinics

Clubs/Teams, please set your clinic dates and sites early and let us know.

For the Region Referee/Scorekeeping Clinics, pre-registration is REQUIRED (see clinic details below for individual pre-registration links). You must submit your pre-registration information at least ONE (1) WEEK before the clinic. Pre-registration will be cut off ONE WEEK before the clinic so we will have a good count of the number of participants and can provide enough clinicians and tests. No pre-registrations will be accepted less than ONE WEEK before the clinic unless their is adequate space/clinicians available. The clinic is free for those that pre-register. There will be a $10 charge at the door for those that do not pre-register, and they will only be allowed to participate if there is space available. Online pre-registration is required (links will be posted below beside the clinic details when the we are accepting pre-registrations). Please bring a pen/pencil and paper for note-taking. AGAIN for 2009/2010 - the RE-CERT Officials Clinic will be available online. The Referee and Scorekeeper Online Re-Cert clinics links will be posted here when ready. This season you will be able to log in to your member account to see if you are eligible to take the re-cert clinic. Sunday, January 10, 2010 - USA Volleyball National Referee Clinic - SITE: Barber Park, Greensboro (Multi-purpose room): 1:00 pm - 4:00 PM. This clinic is mainly for National and Junior National Referees to satisfy their annual National clinic requirement (NOTE - This is NOT a certification clinic). If a National or Junior National referee attends this clinic, they will not have to attend another National clinic this season before the National Championship tournaments. Although this is mainly for National and Junior National officials, ANY other referee may choose to attend if you wish. Pre-registration fee is $20. Late registration fee or payment at the clinic is $30. All registrations must be submitted to the USA Volleyball Office and postmarked no later than one week prior to the clinic. Sunday, January 17, 2010 - Adult/Junior Officiating Clinic - SITE: Barber Park, Greensboro. Full clinic 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. This will be the final Region-sponsored Officials clinic. It will be a full clinic only with the scorekeeper clinic starting off at 12:00 pm. It is open to adult and junior members needing to get certified. To pre-register for this Officials clinic, go to this pre-registration and info page.

Some adult teams in the Charlotte area are investigating the interest in a local officials clinic to get certified for the 2010 season. If interested, please contact Keith Murlless at kmurlless@gmail.com

Teams/Clubs may also choose to Host Your Own Clinic on a date and time of their choosing. Please read before setting up your clinic.
