Here's some recent accomplishments that Deserve Regional Recognition!
- Congratulations to Keith Murless (Asheville, NC) for being selected for a Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO) 2007 Excellence in Service Award. Keith, a National Referee, International Beach Referee, and Chair of the NC Volleyball Officials Board was recognized at the 2007 Women's NCAA Division I Final Four in December.
- Congratulations to Triangle 18 Black (Morrisville, NC) for finishing 2nd (out of 120) in the 18 Open division at the 2008 Las Vegas Classic February 16-18, 2008
- Congratulations to Triangle 17 Black (Morrisville, NC) for finishing 2nd (out of 105) in the 17 Club division at the 2008 Las Vegas Classic February 16-18, 2008
- Congratulations to Pizza Hut/Signature (Eden, NC) for finishing 1st in the Women's B Division at the 2008 Hi Neighbor tournament in Asheville March 15-16, 2008
- Congratulations to Vh1vball.com (Durham, NC) for finishing 1st in the Men's BB Division at the 2008 Hi Neighbor tournament in Asheville March 15-16, 2008
- Congratulations to PTVC-Piedmont 18's (Greensboro, NC) for finishing 2nd (out of 23) in the 18 Open division at the 2008 Big South Qualifer. They earned an 18 Open bid to the 2008 Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in Dallas, TX!
- Congratulations to Biltmore 18's (Asheville, NC) for finishing 2nd (out of 83) in the 18 Club division at the 2008 Big South Qualifer. They earned an 18 American bid to the 2008 Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in Dallas, TX!
- Congratulations to ECJVC 16-1 (Greensville, NC) for finishing 2nd (out of 131) in the 16 Club division at the 2008 Big South Qualifer. They earned a 16 American bid to the 2008 Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in Dallas, TX!
- Congratulations to CJV Rage (Charlotte, NC) for finishing 3rd (out of 83) in the 18 Club division at the 2008 Big South Qualifer.
- Former Carolina Region standout, Megan Hodge (Durham, NC), was selected as the 2007 NCAA Division I National Volleyball Championship Most Outstanding Player. Megan led her Penn State University team to the National Championship in a 3-2 thriller over Standford.
