Congratulations to everyone on another successful season of Carolina Region volleyball! Most of us have wrapped up the indoor season, although some teams will be representing the Region at Nationals and post season Junior Olympic tournaments. I wish you all success on the sand and grass this summer.

As part of our ongoing mission support volleyball in NC, the Carolina Region is considering sponsoring a volleyball specialized NC license plate. These are the plates you see with university, civic club, or other logos on the plate. The NC Special Plates program allows "citizens with common interests to promote themselves and/or their causes." See https://edmv-sp.dot.state.nc.us/sp/SpecialPlatesPortal.html for details. In order to create a volleyball plate we need to collect 300 applications and payments up front. The Carolina Region is still investigating the initial costs for the specialized license plate application. Once we have the complete information we will consider subsidizing part of the application fee for our initial applicants. If you are interested in obtaining a volleyball plate, please contact Kevin at the Region Office with your name, email, and address. He will send out the application and information as soon as it is available (we will also post the details on our website).
