The Carolina Region and USA Volleyball would like to thank the following Clubs and Teams for their donations to the High Performance Programs. Each of the teams/clubs below included the $5 Optional donation for every player in their club when registering their teams this season. Of that $5, $1 each goes to the USA Men's & Women's National Teams, the USAV Boys and Girls High Performance Program, and the Carolina Region High Performance Program.

It is not too late to make your tax-deductible donation for this season. Contact the Region Office for details.

Here are some recent accomplishments that Deserve Regional Recognition!

Congratulations to the following Junior teams that had great finishes at some major inter-Regional Competitons:
CJV-Carolina Reign - won the 16 Club division at the Colorado Crossroads (also finished 5th at Northeast Qualifier).
CJV-Slam - won the 17 Club division at the Big South Qualifier
Triangle 17 Kaepa - finished 3rd at the Big South Qualifier (Slam beat them in semi-finals)
NC Challengers 18 - finished 9th at Big South Qualifier
PVC-Piedmont 16 - won the Gold division at the Shamrock tournament in ODR and finished 19th at the Big South Qualifier
Biltmore 14 Black - finished 2nd in Gold at the Shamrock tournament
Mtn View-Hickory Hammers 15 - finished 23rd at the Big South Qualifier
NC Challengers 16's - finished 9th in 16 Club at NE Qualifier
CJV-Rage - finished 13th (Silver Division winner) at the NE Qualifier

Congratulations to Megan Hodge of Triangle Junior VBC. She has been selected for the 2005 USA Youth National Training Team (one of 18 players across the country). The USA Youth National Team (top 12 of the 18) is scheduled to play in the Youth World Championships in Macao, China, in August of 2005. Good luck, Megan!
