It's hard to believe it, but the 2001 season is over. This season seemed to fly by. We hope everyone had an enjoyable experience. We ended the season with over 3000 members! This is the second consecutive year we have grown by over 300 members. We are still able to accommodate this growth, but facilities and Tournament Directors will continue to be issues if this growth continues. Consider hosting a tournament next season to help us out!
We have a lot of Season Accomplishments to catch you up on in this issue of Carolina Volleyball Review. It serves as the final wrap-up to the 2000/2001 Adult and Junior seasons. We'll conclude the posting of tournament results including our Regional Championships. Those divisions naming an All-Region team are also announced in this issue. A reminder that all this information (and more) is also available at our web page. Pictures (where available) of Champions, Runner-ups, and All-Region teams/MVPs are now on the web site (access from the Results pages). Heading into next season, these pages will be moved into the Archive section (past results and honors). Congratulations again to all our participants!
Our next issue of the newsletter will kick off the new season! We'll have exciting announcements about our office and officially unveil our new logo! Please sign up for our email list (see page 1) to easily keep up with current Carolina Region Information (weekly during the season, less frequent during the summer).
