As a service to our members, we will post tryout information for clubs/teams that provide the information to the Region Office. Per our Tryout Guidelines, we will not post any Girls' Club tryouts that occur before the NC Public High School State Championships on November 3 (see the Tryout Guidelines for additional information on tryout dates and signing dates). All clubs and individuals should also refer to our Recruiting Guidelines for information on acceptable ways to promote your tryouts and avoid illegal recruiting activities.

NOTE: This list is is not an exclusive list of all tryouts. Only those clubs that have notified the Region of their tryout dates and that are meeting the Tryout Guidelines mentioned above are listed here. Additional tryout information may be listed on individual club websites. Contact clubs directly for all information on their tryouts.

The schedule below is in no particular order other than date of first tryout.

2007/2008 Tryouts:

• The Carolina Juniors Volleyball Club (CJV) will be holding tryouts the weeks of November 5-15th. CJV will host a team at the following age divisions: 14, 15, 16(2), 17, 18(2). Tryouts are as follows: 14 and Younger - November 6 and 13, 2007 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM; 15 & 16's - November 8 and 15, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM; 17 & 18's - November 6 and 13, 2007 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
• Brick City VBC will have an additional tryout for 18's & 17's Regional in Sanford, NC at the Central Carolina Community College on Thursday, Nov. 15th from 8-10. $35 fee. Email blackman_carter@windstream.net to register.
• SPORTS ACADEMY USA JOV announces the second wave of tryouts for the 2008 season. We will be fielding Gold/Platinum teams in 12 and under, 13, 14, 16 and 17s and Silver teams 15, 16 and 18. Additional teams may be added or combined based on interest. Tryout dates are scheduled for Nov 11 and 18 at Mooresville Middle School and Nov 14 & 16 at the Barium Springs YMCA. Registration is required and will determine the appropriate time for each team. • Davie Dazzle Volleyball Club still has openings for 17s silver or gold level players. We will hold an additional try-out on Saturday Nov. 17th from 10:00 pm – 11:30 pm at Davie County High School in Mocksville.
