3. Treasurer's report by Dan:
No raters fees have been paid to date. Adults are a little under budget, Juniors are a little over budget. Accountants have completed our 990 forms. Motion by Susie, second by John to:

4. Adult Regionals Update:
Karl and John reported current plans for the Regionals. We will allow late entries when convenient. Current entries show we can compress 2nd weekend, and we'll move MBB if possible to Saturday play. We'll hold WAA as recommended. Concerning Tee shirt sales - we'll post sign advising $20 bad check fee. Motion by Karl, second by Susie to:

5. West Forsyth YMCA Behavior incident:
Investigation shows that behavior did occur. Officiating problems and confusion may have contributed to situation. Region will write a letter to Richard Shumate reminding him of the Code of Conduct which he signed.
6. Petition by Empty Nets for uniform waiver:
Due to medical reasons, a player on Empty Nets requests permission to wear a bandana during play. Motion by Karl, second by Dan to:

7. March 7-8 Durham Volleyball Club tournament:
Region is warranted in withholding $100 sanction from post-tournament payment to DVC for violations occurring at the tournament: No 2nd place prizes were provided, No site director (playing or non-playing) at Carrington for most of day. We will notify them that we prefer non-playing site directors. The uniform violation and late registration will be handled internally by BOD.
8. Carolina Friends 16's petition:
Current 16 Power team would like to be moved to Club based on tournament results. Board agreed they should be moved.
9. WFFY Timberwolves petition:
Team was sanctioned for failing to notify Region or Tournament Director that they were not attending the February 21 tournament. Teams should be reminded to call the Region Hotline in addition to attempting to call the tournament director. Motion by Karl, second by Marilyn to:

10. Junior Hi Neighbor Dates:
Board gives approval for the Junior Hi Neighbor to be held April 17-18 in 1999 and April 15-16 in 2000.
11. BOD Attendance Policy:
BOD attendance policy will be reviewed at the annual retreat.
12. Board of Directors Nominating Committee:
Susie will chair, John Boger and Marilyn will serve. Slate to be announced by April 3rd. We hope to distribute
a slate of candidates at Qualifiers.
